Murder Mystery Party: Davao Blog Awards ‘Promising Newbie of the Year’

Here comes the most awaited December party season, and what better way to celebrate than with a thrilling Murder Mystery Christmas Party! This year marks my first time attending Davao Bloggers Society’s Year-end Party and Davao Blog Awards, co-presented by foodpanda and COMCO Mundo League of Enterprises. The festivities took place at Hotel San Marco last December 2, 2023 and the excitement reached new heights as we gathered to unravel a mystery while embracing the holiday spirit!

Murder Mystery ‘Who’s The Killer‘ Game!

I can’t recall the last time I glammed up for an event, but lucky for me, I found this dress in my closet from six years ago, and it still fits me like a glove. Stepping into the spotlight for the big night, I dressed up with an ‘Old Hollywood’ vibe. During the ‘Who’s the Killer’ game, yours truly got to be the ‘Star of The Show‘ a.k.a ‘The Victim‘. It turned out to be one of the highlights of the night; everyone gave their best shot playing their roles. The only bummer? None of us guessed the real killers correctly! But hey, who needs a perfect score when you’ve got a night filled with laughter, suspense, and a bunch of amateur detectives giving it their all.

Davao Blog Awards

The Davao Blog Awards 2023 is Co-presented by Cebu Pacific Air, featuring three official awards and one special award: The Promising Newbie of the Year, Social Media Star of the Year, Davao Blogger of the Year, and the DBS Mountain Mover Award.

Joining this event for the first time, my only plan was to enjoy, connect with incredible people, and maybe strike it lucky in a Christmas raffle. Winning the ‘Promising Newbie Of The Year’ award was beyond my expectations, and I’m still wrapping my head around it.

As a newcomer to the blogging scene, the recognition from the Davao Bloggers Society surpasses my wildest dreams. It stands as a testament to the warm welcome of the blogging community and the unwavering support of the my fellow members and DBS officers. I’m deeply honored to stand alongside such a talented group of newcomers. This award not only acknowledges my journey but also symbolizes the collective spirit of growth and creativity within our community. A heartfelt thank you to the Davao Bloggers Society and Cebu Pacific Air for this incredible honor. I’m eagerly anticipating the adventures ahead and continuing to share my passion with everyone who’s been part of this amazing journey.
