As a skincare enthusiast, I’m always on the lookout for good, quality brands. Recently, I found out about this Davao homegrown brand – White Glow. They have been in the market since 2019 and have become a cult favorite among many Davaoeñas. People rave about it and it has steadily gained recognition among Davao locals because not only is it a whitening product, but the products are 100% made with natural extracts. They are also organic, paraben-free, HALAL certified, and FDA-certified.
Here is the list of their product line:
White Glow Lotion
Key ingredients: Glutathione, Kojic Acid and Alpha Arbutin

Here’s my honest take: The White Glow Lotion is definitely a fan fave, and I agree – it smells so good, and it’s not sticky, and it leaves my skin feeling smooth.
Verdict: Although I don’t see any whitening effect, this is still a good buy for me, especially if you like scented lotions that leave skin moisturized and smooth.
White Glow Soap
Key ingredients: Carrot, Tomato, Cucumber, Avocado, Papaya, Calamansi, Egg White, Lemon and Milk

Here’s my honest take: The soap is really huge, plus it’s made from 100% natural extracts. It’s also unscented. It is a bit drying but it’s normal for whitening soaps. This is also their best seller and I understand why.
Verdict: This is really worth buying if you like whitening soaps without harsh chemicals, plus it’s paraben-free!

White Glow Day Cream and Night Cream
Key ingredients: Glutathione, Kojic Acid and Alpha Arbutin

Here’s my honest take: The consistency and ingredients are almost the same with White Glow Lotion but the cream is a little bit lighter, good for the face and neck. The Day Cream has SPF 30 which is a decent amount of SPF.
Verdict: This is a good buy if you like scented facial creams. It also makes my skin feel supple after every use. It also smells really good.
White Glow Toner
Key ingredients: Glutathione, Arbutin, Witch Hazel, Kojic Acid, with Aloe Vera

Here’s my honest take: This toner has really good ingredients, plus it’s alcohol-free! It can help tighten pores, regulate pH levels, and lighten dark/uneven spots with continuous use.
Verdict: I did feel a stinging sensation, so it takes a bit of getting used to with this toner. However, my cousin who tried this toner did not feel any stinging, so it still depends on your skin tolerance.
Overall, this is a good local brand and a must-try skincare. If interested, you can purchase them online via Shopee, Lazada, TikTok, or at Davao Farmacia Southern, in front of UniCity and beside Chowking Bajada.
