Top 5 Must-Visit Places In UAE

Planning a trip to the UAE and looking for the best spots to get a stunning view of the city? You’ve come to the right place. As someone who has visited the country multiple times, I can truly say that the UAE has some of the most incredible skylines in the world, and there’s nothing quite like taking it all in from a bird’s-eye view.

In this blog post, I’ll be sharing my top 5 must-visit places in the UAE (United Arab Emirates). From iconic landmarks to natural wonders, there’s something here for every type of traveler!

  1. Burj Khalifa
Burj Khalifa taken from Souk Al Bahar. 26 Jan 2023

Topping the list is of course, the tallest building in the world soaring up to 828 meters – the Burj Khalifa! You can’t possibly miss this when you’re in Dubai. Check out the observation deck on the 148th floor – the view of Dubai from up there is simply breathtaking! Trust me, it’s particularly stunning at sunset. And if you’re looking to take the perfect picture of the Burj Khalifa without your phone cropping it, head over to Souk Al Bahar from Dubai Mall to snap a stunning shot like this one!

  1. Sky View Observatory

If you’re looking for a thrilling and unforgettable experience in Dubai, you should definitely check out the Skyview Observatory. It’s located on the 52nd floor of The Address Hotel in Downtown Dubai, and trust me when I say that the views from up there are absolutely breathtaking. The observation deck has floor-to-ceiling windows that provide you with a 360-degree panoramic view of the city, making it the perfect spot to snap some Instagram-worthy photos and appreciate the stunning architecture of Dubai’s skyline.

If you’re feeling adventurous, you can pay a little extra to access the glass slide which is a real heart-stopper (check out the photo on the left of me taking the slide!). For a real adrenaline rush, try the Edge Walk, where you step onto an external perimeter in a hands-free walk – it’s not for the faint of heart, but it’s an experience you won’t forget! Plus, they even provide a safety strap for your phone, so you can capture all the excitement without worrying about dropping your phone!

  1. Jebel Jais

If you’re looking for a natural view of the city, Jebel Jais is the place to go. This amazing spot is located in Ras Al Khaimah, and it’s the tallest peak in the UAE, reaching a height of 1,934 meters. The road to the top is a bit of a rollercoaster ride, with twists and turns and scenic views that will make you want to stop and take a photo every few minutes. Once you get to the summit, the views of the Hajar Mountains and the Gulf of Oman are absolutely stunning. By the way, if you’re planning to visit, I recommend going during the winter season (Dec-Mar) because it can get pretty chilly up there. During our visit last December, the temperature was around 14C, so make sure to pack some warm clothes!

The Dubai Frame is a unique architectural landmark that offers stunning views of Dubai’s skyline. The frame is 150 meters tall and features a glass walkway that offers a bird’s eye view of the city. From the top of the frame, visitors can see both the historic and modern parts of the city. The frame also features an exhibition that showcases the history and future of Dubai.
